Ballyhane sire success as Prince of Lir's The Lir Jet shows blistering speed and wins impressively on debut with Elzaam's Steadman in hot pursuit.
Prince of Lir got off the mark with his first winner at stud when The Lir Jet was an impressive winner at Yarmouth June 3rd, with runner- up son of Elzaam, Steadman, finishing a strong second. Both juveniles are certainly ones to watch, with an all-aged record at the track being broken by The Lir Jet on his only start. It is no surprise that he may line up at Royal Ascot and attempt to emulate his father, who himself was a Norfolk Stakes Gr.2 winner on his second start.
