Fresh from his blistering triumph with Kameko in last Saturday's 2,000 Guineas, Sheikh Fahad Al Thani has moved to keep his summer run of success going at Royal Ascot next week by purchasing live Norfolk Stakes contender The Lir Jet.
The speedy son of Prince Of Lir broke the all-aged track record at Yarmouth when scoring on his debut over five furlongs last week when he carried the colours of trainer Michael Bell's son Nick.
Michael Bell said:
"It's great that Sheikh Fahad has stepped in for The Lir Jet and he's a great friend who I've trained successfully for before. We have a great working relationship and hopefully we can do so again."
